Dave Large was the sole BNECC representative at the LVRC Track Omnium event held in Newport on the 9/2/14 to 10/2/14. Dave was 3rd overall in the 60-64 age category after 6 events (Dave’s results – Flying lap 3rd, Points race 3rd, Elimination race 5th, Pursuit 4th, Scratch race 4th and Time trial 3rd). The 6th round of the National Trophy Cyclo-cross Series was held in Shrewsbury on Sunday (5/1). Rob Rogers was 13th in the junior event with brother Craig 9th in the under 14 boys category. Nicole Clarke was 7th in the under 14 girls event. Full results can be found here.

The Macclesfield Wheelers Supacross was held on Sunday (29/12). In the vet/women race Jess Wilkinson was first junior female (26th overall), Clive Wilkinson was 35th and Martin Rogers 40th. In the senior/junior event Rob Rogers was 2nd junior (12th overall). The under 16s event saw Craig Rogers as first under 14 boy (4th overall) and Nicole Clarke first under 14 girl (14th overall). In the under 12s race Tyr Bujac was 13th and in the under 10s event Andrew Clarke was 9th closely followed by Elliott Bujac in 10th place. For results see here.

The Rossendale RC Cyclocross event was held on Sunday 22nd December at Edgeside Park. Nicole Clarke was 1st under 14 girl in the under 16s event (9th overall). Andrew Clarke was 10th in the under 10s event. Full results can be found here.

The 5th round of the National Cyclo-cross trophy was held in Bradford on Sunday (15/12). Craig Rogers was second in the under 14 boys event and is still first overall in this category after 5 events. Nicole Clarke was 7th in the under 14 girls category. Full results can be found here.
