The BNECC Hilly 22 is an annual 21.2 mile time trial held every year on Good Friday. This year the event returns to the Broxton D22/1 Course, a sporting course involving almost constant rolling terrain. This year the event HQ will be at Farndon Community Centre. The event organiser is David Simmons. This year, the event will make up the second round of the WCTTCA League.

Full event details and entry can be found on the CyclingTimeTrials website here. Our Facebook event can be found here.

The Jack McAllister Memorial Time Trial is an annual 25 mile Time Trial held each year in memory of BNE member, Jack McAllister. For 2025 the event will be held on the D25/8e course at Prees. The event organiser is Brandon Ridgway.

The event will take place on Sunday 22nd June, with the first rider off at 7am. Entries close on 14th June 2022. The link to our Facebook event can be found here, and full details and entry can be found on the CTT website here.

The Club has in the past co-hosted a series of midweek 10 mile Time Trials alongside Birkenhead Victoria CC, Chester Road Club and Port Sunlight Wheelers. Unfortunately, BNECC are no longer involved with hosting these events, however, we are happy to report that the series is still running as in previous years, with organising now undertaken by Birkenhead Victoria CC, Chester RC and Graham Weigh Racing. The series kicks off on the 17th April at 7pm with Chester Road Club on the D2/7 course at Saighton. It will then continue every Thursday at the same time rotating through the 3 clubs with BVCC hosting every other week, using their Wirral course (D410r), and GWR also using D2/7. The series continues each week until the end of August. More details on the events can be found on the Thursday10 TTs Facebook group here.

The events are all held under CTT regulations for ‘Club’ events with entry for all events being first come first served on the night. Remember, as well as a working rear light, all riders must now have a working front light fitted to their bike, and must be wearing a helmet in order to take part.

The club will once again be hosting our annual series of 5 mile Time Trials on the Wirral, now held in memory of Club Member Carol Boardman, who ran the events for many years alongside her husband, Keith. In 2025, these events will take place on the 4 Tuesday evenings of August (5th, 12th, 19th, 26th) near Willaston. More details around the events will be released via our social channels nearer to the events.
